Experimental cellist and songwriter Kelsey Lu is the protagonist of a comic book illuminating her personal journey of harnessing the power to be free to be her true self and share her music with the world. In videos and images, the artist is captured wearing Gucci Pre-Fall 2020 by Alessandro Michele including this long sleeve gown with Square G detail. With references drawn from fable, cosmology, ‘MYRISTICA’ is a special supplement created by self-taught digital illustrator and photographer Terrell Villiers—who describes his work as “(un)apologetically Black and Queer”—and Akia Dorsainvil of Masisi in partnership with Kaleidoscope Magazine for its new issue 36.
